WhiteExodite (nprofile…xvh7) Originality is dead, the only thing mainstream western media can do at this point is wear the body suit of beloved nostalgia inducing properties and pray it's enough to hide the fact that it's written like shit. Kamen Rider and Gundam have certainly made good use of the idea of segregated self-contained stories unified only by general underlying concepts and themes, but I feel like the people making shows over here lack the self reflection needed to see why these series continue to succeed despite persisting through literal generations while theirs only crash and burn.
