What are some creative feed sources for your #chickens at any time of year? I'm looking to reduce my feed bill as close to zero as I can

They have 'trash' leaves for bedding that city folk were kind enough to bag up for me. They are mostly fed restaurant trash and sprouted sunflower seeds. They don't really touch the feeder of grains. Trash into compost and eggs! I will not eat ze bugs.

When sunflower seeds were on sale for $9 for a 40# bag, I bought 10 of them. Sprouted 3 quarts at a time every other day.
