Just a technical point here, but the fancy new ones are hypersonic glide vehicles, not ballistic missiles. They are only ballistic during a short initial phase, mostly over friendly territory, where they do a nose-dive from the edge of space in order to gain speed before pulling up at mach 12 and then flying comparatively level towards the final target.
No interceptor missile will be any good, as their speed is not practical to achieve with direct rocket power, and they're moving so fast that head-on interception is nearly impossible to time correctly.
