Melody Cooper on Nostr: My parents were young CORE workers. Never forget the murder of 3 Civil Rights workers ...
My parents were young CORE workers. Never forget the murder of 3 Civil Rights workers in Mississippi in 1964. The case drew national attention because 2 of the men were White. Due to 200 FBI searching for them, the bodies of other missing Black men were found. Never forget the murders were planned by a sheriff and Baptist minister in the KKK. Those evil men are fathers and grandfathers of men we have to deal with today.
