The other thing about the hippies that makes them some of the most retarded niggers of the past century is that they finally got what they wanted after we had already more or less won in Vietnam after the Tet Offensive. Don't get me wrong, we never should've been there, but taking our ball and going home at that point was so fucking stupid and really just punctuates what an absolutely waste of blood and treasure Vietnam was overall. The NVA themselves said they were getting ready to propose a truce until they saw the Americans suddenly pulling out.
