Decided to upgrade my daily driver MacBook Pro M3 to Sequoia now that 15.0.1 has been released. Figured that the early adopter bugs should be fixed, right?
Nope. Been stuck at the Apple logo and a 20-25% progress bar for the last hour. Is it actually doing anything? Who knows! Will it recover if I force power it off and back on? Who knows!
(FWIW, my M1 Mac mini on my testbench updated just fine in a matter of mere minutes)
