I don't think that is difficult as it is probably better at it that many humans picking up on those subtle usages. It is not claiming to be absolutely correct as it cannot reference back to anything. I would not go as far as to say it is an outright lie - it is an attempt to give a probability. Accuracy is not the same thing as a lie really.
