Parts of the bible are written by the institution of religion and have been corrupted by the fallibilities of humans over the centuries. Other parts are literal, and other parts are metaphors.
I am the way and the truth and the life. He is not referring to Jesus the man, but the eternal I am, the consciousness that I am, that you are.
A camel can pass more easily through the eye of a needle than a rich man can get into heaven. He is not referring to worldly wealth,, but rather to one that is so rich in mind that he's not open to seeing beyond what he knows. (Reminds me of the Ackktually midcurve meme guy).
