Rowling is wrong in law. Yes, she has the right to freedom of speech, but no she can't use it willy-nilly for two reasons a) we are talking about employment law and this is nothing to do with employment, and b) abuse is not permitted under freedom of speech laws. It's hate speech and I hope the police throw the book at her (they'll probably not because police are soft on hate crimes).
