I suspect the world may remain too degenerate for the things I must build even after fiat falls. These people are too far gone and there must be a cost. I am contemplating simply building certain machines/objects in secret, and having the specs revealed automatically decades after my death... to a world that may finally strive for greatness, a world that returns to the original human desire to build tools that utilize ever greater amounts of energy to form order.

Why should I show my art to those who have proven themselves time and again unworthy to gaze upon it? And if I must gain some wealth or other practical thing from it, how can I delude myself into saying it is art?
