I’ve been reading a lot about historical descriptions of volcanic eruptions and the devastation they create. It’s fascinating and insane. Pyroclastic flow can travel at speeds over 200mph and bury entire towns in matter of a few minutes even miles away. When near water, the displaced water creates tsunamis that travel many miles in a matter of a few minutes. The sheer power of volcanoes is insane. Mother Nature is no joke.
The weird thing is that people resettle the same areas that were devastated, like it never happened.
