Got a #pinebook pro last week. It comes with #manjaro #linux pre-installed and they recommend immediately updating the system on first boot, so that's what I did.

And the thing bricked itself.

Power LED comes on and numlock and capslock LEDs too, but other than that I get a black screen. No terminal prompt, no splash screen, nothing.

I bought the laptop to get my feet wet messing about with different distros but looks like I've been thrown immediately into the deep end.
