"A two percent fee on each sale" is not small, when - how much of each purchase price does Amazon chow down on again, when the order is through their website, etc.?
This kind of shit is why I don't use Amazon more often, even if it costs me more as a consumer. The FTC going to town on them might actually improve their business to the point I'd be more willing to use them.
