You write a note and you can set time decadence.
Fore free you have 3 types you choose to post a note on, 1 day, 1 week, 1month.
Relays periodically purge notes when time comes.
Those relay are free.

Paid relays for 1+ months - "never delete note".

Those could be a way for a client with its own relays do monetize somehow.
