Ultimately, developers are responsible for the quality of the code they push. And if that code is made worse by an "AI" tool, that's really on them as developers for not vetting the output and understanding what it's doing or why what it's doing is bad. It's a terrible idea to just let Copilot etc write code for you and yeet it into prod without a second thought.
