I felt like I could sit there at my previous job for another 20 years up till my retirement and then go and retire completely unfulfilled. I worked at a municipality where I wanted to change things for the better, but it was a continuous fight to try to convince the politicians to follow my vision. I think it made me a bit numb because I didn't see enough progress there. It was really time to switch.
