People keep #mice in tiny enclosures, but I wish they wouldn't! When we moved Nibs from a tiny little Kaytee enclosure (which I got because that's what he had been in at the shelter) into a much larger Critter Nation (18x36 freedom inches, meant for rats or ferret sized creatures), his anxiety levels plummeted. We did fit the walls of the CN with chicken wire to keep him from squeezing through!
