"Hello, we're calling to tell you that National Company is rebranding as Company dot com. I'm your sales manager, here's my number if you need anything."
I'm sitting here thinking so many things.
1) I always thought of you as Company dot com and never as National Company. I didn't even know that was your proper name.
2) I have a sales rep? I've only ever interacted with your website.
3) You expect me to hold onto this number and not lose it by the time I need it? Very bold of you, sir.
It may not seem like it from my description, but it was easily the weirdest call I've had all year.
