I hate being committed to doing my best all the time, if that makes sense. I make things so hard for myself but it’s not perfectionism (maybe it is) — I just don’t like wasting my time and energy and putting my name on something that isn’t even the best version of itself.
Instead, I waste a lot more of my time making sure it’s ~of quality~, but if you look around, I think you’ll find that very few people doing that are thriving under capitalism
