As enacted, TikTok won't disappear overnight for US users if the the TikTok ban goes into effect.
Reuters states, only new #TikTok downloads on Apple or Google app stores would stop while existing users could still continue using the app for some time, unless TikTok decides to shut all US users off.
Under TikTok's plan, people attempting to open the app will see a pop-up message directing them to a website with information about the ban and info to download their data.
