I recall going to the Hayden Planetarium at the Museum of Natural History in NYC and seeing "sky shows" using their Zeiss projector.
They ALWAYS mentioned the Zeiss projector.
Which was a marvel of optical technology for decades.
Now, with the much more advanced technology of digital projection, it seems like much less of a big deal...
