Plus you don't need a server to get your phone number, you don't need a password to access them, it's pretty much the same infrastructure as 100 years ago, only with lots and lots of upgrades over time.\n\nWhen everything can be done this easy with just an email/XMPP/Fedi/whatever address, then the phone number will be on suicide watch on people's phones. Until then we're just discussing about utopic worlds and situations.",
