I remember back in 1977 my dad got on a waiting list to buy the first model Honda Accord Hatchback. It was a well made little car, but the Japanese could not anticipate the heat we have in places like Laredo in the Summer. The engine ran for a long time, but some of the interior plastic parts didn't handle it very well.
