You can argue that Democrats should have done x, y, or z until the cows come home. But the other party spent the entire time lying through their teeth. It doesn't matter what you say when the other side counters it with lies and their supporters only see the lies. Whether you blame the press, critical thinking skills, or something else, the result will be the same. No change in messaging or focus is going to change that. We've created a post-truth society.
