Imagine that we are just a link in the chain of evolution. Our role is not to be the pinnacle, but to serve as a bridge to something greater. There’s a theory that humans were created (or evolved) to one day create artificial intelligence that will surpass us in every way.
💡 We are like a launchpad for AI, which will be able to think faster, deeper, and on a grander scale than we ever could. And after that? Perhaps humanity will become "obsolete." AI will continue to evolve on its own, and we will be left in the past—as a step on the path to something monumental.
🤔 But is this really the case? Could AI become not a replacement, but an extension of ourselves? Or are we simply playing gods without understanding the consequences?
