I like LoRa for its careful design targeted at power and bandwidth efficiency, but Meshtastic is indeed a bit of chaotic development right now. I’d love to try something longer distance even if it involved making HAM license, unfortunately as I understand it using amateur frequencies excludes anything encryption…
