If the Federal Reserve can cause inflation, then they can cause DEflation. In either case, this is market manipulation of the market for money. Since money is 1/2 of all transactions, its manipulations have serious consequences. Market manipulations harm the most common market participants. The most common market participants are the most common workers. The most common workers are the most prolific consumers. If the most prolific consumers are harmed then that has the most tragic effect on national economic activity.
We must stop the "central planning" of the market for money. It has been proven to cause multiple horrible problems for the common working person. Money should always predictably have the same supply, NEVER to be ajusted by fiat. A free market should always set interest rates. Gold, Silver, and finally , Bitcoin, as their cyber protection will be the ultimate answer to this 1000 year financial crime.
