Well. There are more trans deaths recognized this year due to violence, medical negligence, or self harm this year than last. 66 last year to 73. Violent deaths are up from 37 to 39. Two in Atlanta.
This is just the US. Globally recognized deaths are up from 403 to 426.
These are only publicized, reported transgender lives lost. This is not a comprehensive list, and it’s almost impossible to get a comprehensive list of those lost to hate and bigotry.
