I am a pescatarian moving towards vegetarianism (hard) for many reasons.
'Meat is bad for us' is not one of them.
'Killing other animals is always bad' is not one of them: animals kill one another to eat and I don't think humans are more special than other animals. We're more destructive thing though.
What drives me:
I don't want to eat suffering; humans inflict suffering onto animals bred for meat under terrible conditions. I love other animals.
The meat industry is a major pollution factor.
