I still maintain both a Facebook and Instagram account that I RARELY use (mostly to keep up with a handful of friends who use them pretty exclusively) and I keep feeling the pull to check them, but resisting that urge because I can only imagine what cesspools they are currently.
Makes me grateful for places like #Mastodon
