Then why did they lose so badly? Strong opponents by definition have a strong chance of winning. Asuka had a strong chance of beating Mugi, she also got a very large number of votes (more than several still-active candidates have ever gotten) and ended up losing by only three votes. How do you call an opponent strong when they get far fewer votes?
