One of my few elementary school memories was of an eclipse that happened sometime in the 80s. My school decided to cancel all recess and keep us indoors. They herded us all into lunchroom, which had no windows, so we couldn’t look outside at the eclipse. I’m not sure where they got the idea that this was the right thing to do. But anyway, I didn’t get to see that eclipse.
Does anyone else have memories like this? #eclipse
