Yoy gotta put the corn through a process called nixtamalization, where is gets boiled for about 35 minutes in the limed water, sit for 12 hours, rinsed then blended into a dough (some water added, can done in a food processor) then you have fresh corn dough, press into tortillas and fry. Grits can be made from a coarser grind. Taste is !!!
