a friend and I visited the #northisland in 1992. never made it to the #southisland.
I have a nice story about getting lost in the middle of nowhere and ending up at a #sheep farm that did an airbnb type thing and we watched the #WinterOlympics with the #NZ couple and a #German family that had actually made reservations. They were kind to let two young Americans share this wonderful place with them.
