A thing I especially like about "Examples" (Full title: "Examples: The Making of 40 Photographs") is that while it does include some of his best photos, they were selected mainly for the stories and techniques behind them. I learned as much from the text as from the images, and it helped me become a better photographer at least as much as it helped me appreciate his particular work.
