saifedean (nprofile…e3uc) makes a great argument that the bedrock for all the innovation that has happened in the last 100 years was laid in the time of sound money (gold). I think what supports that is seeing that true innovation has seen a massive decline during the fiat era.
Given enough time sound money will take us to the stars. Given enough time fiat will take us back to the stone age.
