The “mother lode” is what they call the whole gold bearing area of the sierras in CA. Basically all the foothills from the Rubicon down to Yosemite. I spend more of my time in the gold fields in SoCal these days but if you get anything going up there I’d for sure come participate. Let me know if you ever need help once the ball gets rolling ✨
