Even though the term "enshittification" has originally been coined to describe a specific phenomenon on VC-funded platforms, it also captures the general vibe of many things getting worse: late stage capitalism, climate change, rise of fascism, poor9 quality and lack of repairability in consumer goods… Like how everything is getting shittier for the general population (and especially for marginalized people of all kinds).
