I wasn't sure it'd be worth it, but I hated vacuuming enough to try it and turned out I actually love mine! I had two cats and a dog, and it runs every night while we're asleep and I wake up to a clean floor.
The vacuum empties itself into the dock after every run, and occasionally I empty the doc (every couple weeks?). There is a (proprietary) app to control it's run schedule. Occasionally it picks up something that causes it to require minor maintenance, but I've always been able to fix it. This has happened maybe three times the past year?
It's basically replaced regular vacuuming for me and takes the chore off my mind since it's basically automated now.
That being said, I think I have the ideal floor plan for it. All hardwood on a mostly open-concept downstairs with limited things for it to get stuck on.
