What is indentured servitude? Indentured Servitude is a form of slavery, period.

How it is supposed to work: an individual finds him or herself in debt. That individual agrees to indenture to the creditor or owner of the debt for a period of time, as an unpaid worker (slave), in lieu of direct payment of said debt.

How it most often works: The creditor or the owner of the debt continues to move the goal posts on the amount of debt owed, extending the indenture sometimes indefinitely, or effectively, permanently.

The federal government, through the 16th Amendment, has declared that they own your income (“the debt”) and that you shall work for the federal government, indefinitely, to pay off this “debt”. In exchange, the federal government will allow you to keep a portion of your earnings, and will not imprison you.

You can never pay off this "debt", because you yourself continue to add to it as you work for wages. You will never be free. Ever.

That, is what federal income tax really is; indentured servitude.
