And that's one thing I am not smart enough to fix with homebrew since it's baked into the class system so deeply. Starfinder and PF2 mostly fixed it by having completely reworked or new classes and nerfing multiclassing but fuck doing that for homebrew lmao. Kane had some interesting in-house stuff for gunslinger that helped it keep up but that was just one class.
