MAGA kept predicting a "civil war" -- what they didn't seem to predict was that the civil war would be within themselves. Steve Bannon is pissed that Trump didn't side with him about immigration but chose to kiss up to Musk instead, but that was predictable. Musk has billions, and Bannon is going to trial in state court in a couple of months where Trump can't pardon him. To Trump, Bannon is being rapidly devalued compared with Trump's new master Elon. Not very complicated.
