I am not sure what was more absurd: The fact that my winter boots lost their soles in Iceland, the fact that our first trip in the rental car was to a Bauhaus in Iceland or the fact that this Bauhaus had some German Pattex glue specifically engineered for my particular situation. Anyway, we laughed a lot that day 🤣
