i find the "if a queer supporter of Palestine were in Palestine, they'd be dead!" so grotesque. first and foremost, the reason it's literally true because of the war Israel is waging. second, the people don't care about queer Palestinians, it's all just to score points.

to be clear, i don't think Wu was saying that specifically or that she doesn't care about queer Palestinians, but it's gross how she's walking up to that line.
