For some programs, I feel like the key to using it without a mouse is to know the key that displays the keyboard shortcuts!

For example, for Signal Desktop, that shortcut is Ctrl+/ ! I love Ctrl+<n> (jumps to the n-th chat), Up (edits the last message), and Ctrl+Shift+M (opens an all-media view I had never seen before!) Ctrl+T jumps between different sections of the interface, and is really helpful for navigating using Tab/Shift-Tab!
