The MRNA approach to vaccines clearly did not stop the pandemic. Biden famously said you would not only "not get sick", but be a dead end to the virus, unable to spread it, if you got the vaccine. How many times has he had COVID?
I doubt that another pandemic would cause people to line up for more MRNA. Ask any group of people, you will hear a MRNA vaccine horror story.
Pfizer and Moderna may be assaulted by a plague of lawyers in the near future. Bad for the stock price!
