It is absolutely mind boggling what modern computers can do when we don't waste their performance, and yet we manage to precisely do that.

I have tested that I can have 100k players on a single server playing my game, provided that the server is a single core server with a 2.65GHz CPU from 10 years ago. Should that not be the norm? I don't understand how we fucked that up
