This has been a long time coming.

In this case, we have had two major ongoing issues:
1) rape gangs operating with impunity
2) illegal immigration abetted by government

The anger over the rape gangs is not just the sheer numbers and how long they continued with little or no punishment. It is:
1) the fact that these gangs comprised predominantly Pakistani Muslim men and this fact was deliberately kept under the radar because of the assumption that the public (racist scum that they all are according to government) would think that all Muslim men were rapists
2) that those in a position to do something about it did not because they were afraid they would be called racist; many involved in covering up have failed upwards into better jobs.
3) that there was more concern about protecting these rapists from a perceived *racist* backlash than there was about the girls who were abused; in fact many of the girls were smeared as racist sluts to protect the reputations of those who failed to act.
4) that the few who were sent to trial received little or no punishment; most are back in the same neighbourhoods and deportation was not even considered.

The anger over illegal immigration is a combination of factors including:
it making a mockery of the system of legal migration; the sheer cost of housing and feeding so many people from the public purse; being lied to about numbers; being falsely told that most are seeking asylum; the prioritisation of migrants over indigenous people for benefits, housing etc; the fact that many are criminals operating in gangs; the way in which they disrupt established communities; ruining economic growth by being used as low-paid off-the-books labour; putting pressure on schools, healthcare and other local services; being told that diversity is our strength and other platitudes; a refusal to integrate while British people are told that their own history and culture is worthless without these migrants; being called *far-right racists* for having any of these concerns; I could keep going.

Even tolerant people have had enough. These two issues alone need talking about, but proper public debate has always been stifled. Add the other nonsense on stilts from the last few years into the mix and we have a lot of pissed-off people.
The biggest problem was, is and will always be that we are governed by people who despise us.
