"content": "that's exactly why i find it so funny/jarring now, as i haven't really seen ads in years (i don't watch tv, just have plex)... it blows me away that my wife is incredibly perceptually savvy about filtering ads out visually as she reads websites (she doesn't use any ad-blocking software at all). she honestly doesn't even notice them. i imagine she has an entire neural cluster devoted to that task.\n\nit is a LOT of data haha - this is just from one laptop alone\n\ni honestly find it weird that advertising is still the driving force behind much of commerce. i still have never seen evidence that it actually works.\nhttps://dialup.cafe/system/media_attachments/files/112/751/111/435/773/485/original/99eb7ef5a28e7173.png\n",
