Man this takes me back. I used to help my uncles do this on their farms when I was a kid. And when I’d walk the mile from where the school bus would drop us off down to the end of the range road we lived on, I’d pass scores of tapped trees. I’d take a bucket off a tree and gulp back the ice cold sap, and quickly put it back.
